A family-run lavender farm on Kays Road, distilling essential oils on site and hand-making botanical skincare. Three-time Australian Lavender Growers Association award winner.

A working lavender farm

McLaren Vale Lavender has been in the same family since 1990 and is one of the few commercial lavender farms in South Australia. The farm grows several lavender varieties, harvests by hand, and distils the essential oils on site in a traditional copper still. The hand-made skincare range - balms, soaps, sleep mists, body oils - is built entirely around the farm's own oils.

At the farm

The on-site shop sells the full range, alongside dried lavender bunches, sachets and lavender-based gourmet products. Best visited in flowering season (November-January) when the rows of purple are spectacular and you can walk through them.

Recognition
