Brothers, vineyards and a thistle
Hither & Yon was founded by brothers Richard and Malcolm Leask in 2013. The family has been growing grapes in McLaren Vale for four generations; Hither & Yon is their own label, focused on small-batch single-vineyard wines from estate-grown fruit.
Cellar door
The Hither & Yon cellar door is housed in a beautifully restored 1850s stone cottage on Willunga's High Street, a short stroll from the Willunga Farmers Market. Its minimal, architect-designed interior lets the wines and the heritage stonework do the talking. Expect to taste Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Nero d'Avola, Aglianico and Carignan from estate vineyards around McLaren Vale.
