A family-run open-range wildlife park 5km north of Victor Harbor with kangaroos, wombats, koalas, dingoes and over 70 bird species - most of them close enough to feed.

Meet the Fleurieu's wildlife up close

Urimbirra Open-Range Wildlife Park is a family-run park spread over 16 hectares on the main Adelaide Road into Victor Harbor. It is home to more than 70 species of Australian native animals, most housed in large open enclosures that visitors can walk through - so you are often within a few metres of kangaroos, emus and wallabies as you move around the park.

What you'll see

  • Kangaroos, wallabies and emus in open paddocks you can walk through
  • Wombats with daily keeper talks
  • Koalas in shaded gums
  • Dingoes, Tasmanian devils and crocodiles in dedicated enclosures
  • Reptile house with pythons, goannas and lizards
  • Over 70 bird species including black swans, parrots and waterbirds
