Sellicks Hills Range

The dramatic ridge of the Sellicks Hills running south behind Sellicks Beach - a scenic geographic feature visible from the entire western Fleurieu coast.

The ridge behind the coast

The Sellicks Hills Range is the long, steep ridge that rises directly behind Sellicks Beach and Aldinga - the most dramatic geographic feature on the central Fleurieu coast. The range tops out at over 350 metres and is visible from every beach and viewpoint along the western shore.

What's there

The ridge itself is a mix of working farms, conservation land and scattered rural properties. The famous Old Willunga Hill cycling climb runs up the eastern slope. Several lookouts on the eastern side (notably Reynolds Viewpoint and the Old Willunga Hill summit) face inland; the western face drops directly to Sellicks Beach. The whole range is a defining piece of the Fleurieu landscape.
