Five Geese Wines

Two sisters, five geese, one vineyard

Small family winery run by sisters on Main Road McLaren Vale, with a hosted cellar door and exclusive-to-visitors tastings.

A family winery by two sisters

Five Geese is the small family winery run by sisters Sue Trott (formerly of Wirra Wirra) and winemaker Wendy Trott. The vineyard has been in the Trott family since 1927 and was named after the five geese that wandered the property when Sue was a child.

Cellar door

The Five Geese cellar door on Main Road is a hosted, small-scale tasting experience. Visitors work through five cellar-door-exclusive wines paired with small bites for a tasting fee of around $10. It is a rare chance to taste older reserve wines unavailable anywhere else. Weekends by appointment.
