Family-owned estate famous for pioneering Sangiovese in Australia, Fiano, Nebbiolo and a celebrated garden restaurant overlooking the McLaren Vale hills.
Italian varietals in the Vale
Coriole Vineyards was established in 1967 by the Lloyd family around an 1860s homestead on Chaffeys Road. Coriole is credited with planting the first commercial Sangiovese in Australia in 1985 and has since been a leader in Italian and Mediterranean varietals including Fiano, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Prosecco alongside McLaren Vale Shiraz.
