A heritage seafront hotel on Victor Harbor's Flinders Parade, originally built as a guest house in the early 1900s, with restaurant, wine bar and rooms looking directly across to Granite Island.

On the foreshore

The Anchorage sits on Flinders Parade across the road from the Victor Harbor foreshore, with the causeway to Granite Island and the Soldiers Memorial Gardens both a few minutes' walk away. The building dates to the early 1900s and was originally a guest house - much of the heritage feel survives in the high-ceilinged public rooms downstairs.

Rooms

A range of room types from standard double rooms to family rooms and seafront suites. The sea-facing rooms look directly across to Granite Island - some of the best accommodation views in town.

Bar and restaurant

A wine bar and full restaurant occupy the ground floor, with an outdoor patio and an open log fire in winter. Counter meals available and the bar carries a strong list of Fleurieu wines.

What's nearby

Walking distance to the Cockle Train station, the South Australian Whale Centre, the foreshore and the start of the Granite Island causeway.
